Biography
Prof. Sergio Servidio is an associate professor at the University of Calabria (UNICAL) since 2018. In 2005 he visited University of Uppsala (Sweden), in the framework of an European fellowship. In 2007 he got a research contract at the University of Tromso (Norway). From 2007 to 2009 he has been postdoc at University of Delaware (USA). His main interests concern plasma turbulence, kinetic (with both Eulerian and PIC codes), fluid models of plasmas, numerical relativity, and parallel computing. Servidio is leading a research group at UNICAL on astrophysics, plasma turbulence and general relativity, supervising several PhDs and undergrads.
